Gina & Rick- Fullerton Arboretum
When Gina and I met we clicked instantly. We chatted about so many things besides her faboulus wedding that we didn't even notice two hours had gone by and it was only our first meeting!

Gina wanted to mix in her Mexican heritage to her luscious garden wedding taking place at the Fullerton Arboretum.
We used 5 x 7 Mexican Loteria cards as table names, display in L shaped plastic frames
The sweetheart table was appropriately named "El Corazon"

Guest found their names on cardstock that displayed a smaller version of the Loteria card that let them know what their table name was. We displayed the placedcards on a clothesline where the cards where secured with wooden clothespins.
The candy buffett filled with a mix of Mexican candies was a huge hit with both children and adult present!
The awesome Dia De Los Muertos toasting flutes and cake toppers. You won't be seeing this on Martha Stewart's weddings anytime soon!

The woodsy ceremony area doesn't need much decoration. To add a touch of flair we hanged chandeliers with silk cholocate ribbon from the humungous tree the couple stood in front of during the ceremony. Very chic!

Rizt Carlton- Dana Point
**** Photo by Lauren Hillary ***My very first wedding ever was back in April 2005 at the Rizt Carlton in Dana Point. The ceremony took place on the hill overlooking the Pacific and the lavish Armenian reception took place in the grand ballroom. Over 200 guests enjoyed the sunny, hot mid Spring day.
It was a long day full of hapiness, joy and overwhelming doubt. I'm talking about me here. It was my first "real" wedding. A wedding where I would be surrounded by professional vendors. Where 200 guests expected to have a good time. Where both the bride and groom trusted me to make it all happen seamlessly. It was nervewrecking but at the end of the night the newlyweds were ecstatic, the father of the bride couldn't stop hugging me and thanking me.
All my fears and emotions where out the window and I couldn't help but smile on my loooong drive home. It had been an out of this world experience and I couldn't wait for my next wedding. It was all worth it.

Karina has an artistic soul and a crazy love for cats that I don't understand. I prefer dogs. I met her almost 10 years ago, when I first starting dating Luis. She was this little 8yr old butterball with crazy curly hair. She asked me to be her friend. In a hand written letter decorated with drawings and stickers. Adorable! Her family was going thru some troubles when her 15th birthday rolled around and she thought the QuinceaƱera was never going to happen. So we started brainstorming, and planning and running around like mad women. Finding ways to make it happen. Afterall, she had been through a lot that everyone felt she deserve a little celebration. We made it happen with the help of friends and family, Karina had her sweet 16 celebration.
Photography was done by the talented duo at Eight20 Photography; found thru Craigslist:
.

The bouquets she carried as well as her court were hand tied by yours truly. Flowers were bought the day before at the Los Angeles Flower Market. The same flowers were used to decorate the guest tables. A fish bowl container decorated with black ribbon and filled with a bouquet of roses stood on a bed of rose petals- simply beautiful.
The fuschia was a nice contrast against the black dresses and tuxes of her court.Karina just graduated high school and has set her major in Photography with a minor in Art. I know you'll make your momma proud. Wish you nothing but the best in everything!

Aliki and Baron- The Castle Green
The first time I met Aliki, she talked about Baron with this gleam in her eyes that just made her love for him shine thru. Needless to say we spent a couple hours just talking about how they met and the details of her turquoise and red details for her upcoming wedding. When I met Baron, he greeted me with a tight hug. His affection is just one of the qualities that won her over.

The centerpieces were a mixture of deep red roses and cymbidum green orchids seated on a hand painted pots.

Each and every detail of your wedding day is important. The dress, the venue, the flowers, the shoes (can't forget about the shoes!) but what I always tell my brides is to make sure they find an amazing photographer. After all is said and done what you will have to remember that special day is your photos.
I've had the opportunity to work with some awesome photographers. Rockstars! I'm always amaze at their art and craft, at their ability to capture all the beautiful details that make the day happen!
Here is a list of some amazing photographers, that I've had the wonderful opportunity to work with, and others who I hope to work with sooner rather than later :
The notorious Next Exit Photography. Cat and Adi are such fun and down to earth.. despite their rockstar status in the wedding industry!

New to me but a really down to earth photographer that I hope to one day work with is the amazing, Jasmine Star:

Her beautiful smile made her a blushing bride.. and her talent just made her an awesome photographer, Trista Lerit Phography:

I've never met him but I've followed his blog since 2005. His energy and enthusiasm just bleeds thru his blog, Becker:

Los Angeles River Center and Gardens
As soon as I walk through the steel black doors I feel like I just walked into those haciendas featured in the Spanish soap operas that my mom watches on Univision. I love the rustic feel of those iron gates contrasting with the lavish flowers and the greenery of the trees. At night, you are surrounded by twinkle lights entwined on the trees scattered throughout.
I've had the pleasure of working at the LARCG a couple of different times and each time I get swept up with the magic of this place.
Here’s a few pictures by one of my favorite photographers, Cat and Adi from Next Exit Photography from a Stacey and Ronalds weddding (you can visit their blog and read more about Stacey and Rons wedding here)
